Our privacy, shipping and return policies are as follows:
Shipping policy: all in stock fabrics are shipped within five business days. (Weekends and holidays are not counted as business days!) If the fabric you have ordered is not in stock, but we are certain that it will be coming soon (within a few weeks) we will contact you to let you know how long it will be until we receive the next shipment, and you can decide whether to wait or cancel the order. Items that are flagged as being in "pre-order" status will be treated as a separate order. (click here to read more about this on our pre-order page).
We ship by a combination of First Class and Priority Mail (for small packages) and FedEx ground (for heavier packages and full bolts).
We regret that we are unable to accommodate requests for express or overnight shipping.
Return policy: All of our fabrics are first quality; we would never knowingly sell you a piece of fabric which is flawed, and so we carefully check all fabrics before they are sent. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on fabric, except in the case of damaged goods.
If you need to return goods which have been damaged, you must contact us for a return authorization number prior to returning anything.
Cancelled orders: If your order has not yet been packed, and you wish to cancel it, please call or e-mail us and we will certainly accommodate your request. If you cancel by e-mail we will send a reply confirming the cancellation. Once your order has been packed, it may not be cancelled. If we have special ordered a fabric for you, it may not be cancelled if our supplier has already sent it to us.
Refused packages: If you place an order, and we in good faith fill it, and then you refuse the package (return it to sender) it will be treated as an unauthorized return, and the following conditions will apply. Shipping will not be refunded, and a 25% restocking fee will be charged on all fabrics, with the exception that cuts of less than one yard of fabric will not be refunded at all as such small cuts are difficult to re-sell.
Undeliverable packages: Occasionally a package is undeliverable due to an error in address, or if there is no mail receptacle for it to be delivered to. If we make a mistake in the address, we will ship it again at our expense. But if the problem is not our fault, such as in the case of no mail receptacle or if we were provided with an incorrect or incomplete address, we must charge shipping to send the package a second time. Please be sure that your address is complete when placing your order - especially if an apartment number is required!
Sales tax: We are required to collect New York State Sales tax on all shipments to addresses within New York State. For details, click here.
Sample Swatches: We regret that due to time constraints as our business grows, we can no longer offer sample swatches. Instead, we have reduced our minimum cut to 1/4 yard. This is a linear cut, 9" x the width of the fabric, not a "fat quarter". Since many of our fabrics are large scale prints, a quarter yard cut will give you a much better idea of the overall effect of the design. Fabrics which are sold by-the-panel must be purchased whole; we cannot offer smaller cuts on these.
Privacy policy: we will not sell or rent or share any information about you, ever, period!
