After some prodding from Jill, and encouragement from Barb and Beth, we have made the leap into the new year by announcing our presence on Facebook!
Our name is "Favorite Fabrics", and we plan on using Facebook as a means of quickly announcing new fabric arrivals, sales and promotions, and "sneak peek" news of upcoming collections, and other interesting quilt fabric rumors. We can probably keep you updated via Facebook quicker than by a monthly newsletter. If you're in a hurry for a "fabric fix" this might work well for you!
We also have a group on Facebook (yes, this is called "Favorite Fabrics" too) and we would love for you to join! We're the group in Buffalo, NY, not the girl with the swimsuit. (Ummm... we don't see a lot of swimsuits around here this time of year anyway.)
Because the snow is not over here, we have restocked Benartex's lovely "Snow Show" group, so there will be plenty of snowmen left!
We are anxiously awaiting Avlyn's new "Space Rangers" group. This is sure to be a hot seller! For all of you who want to decorate your kids' room with something intellectually stimulating, this group includes a panel showing all of the planets in our solar system. Best of all, some of the prints include glow-in-the-dark ink. What fun! And yes, we are taking pre-orders on it.
We fear that Lakehouse's hydrangea group is about to be retired. We've snagged the last bolt of the plum hydrangea and raspberry fabric, plus a couple of bolts of the heron colorway. Whether these will ever go to print again is questionable. Yes, we still have some of the all-over blossoms and coordinating stripes left, but when these go, they will likely be gone for good.
Our "incoming" shelves are pretty well stocked right now, and we will have the new fabrics pictured on the website in short order. Included are some lovely florals by Moda, new Valentine's Day fabrics, and some Celebrations party fabrics from Quilting Treasures. And more!
