As of August 2007, Shamash has closed their warehouse and they have sold off all their inventory. They will continue to print some fabrics, but only for the major fabric chain stores and manufacturers. This way they Shamash will not have the expense of maintaining a warehouse and carrying any stock for small independent fabric stores. It's unfortunate for us, because they had some wonderful designs!
However... there is a new manufacturer, Elizabeth's Studio, who is working with some of the same designers that used to be with Shamash. If you liked the look of Shamash's designs, then we're confident that you will be pleased with the fabrics by Elizabeth's Studio, too.
